AOC unveils 27-inch QHD gaming monitor for competitive play

Ana sayfa / Computers

AOC has introduced the Q27G4SP, a new 27-inch QHD gaming monitor built for speed-focused gamers. Launched alongside the Q27G4SMN, this model uses a Fast IPS panel and pushes refresh rates up to 320 Hz—one of the highest currently available for 1440p displays.

The Q27G4SP delivers a 2560 x 1440 resolution on a 27-inch screen. Its standout feature is the 320 Hz refresh rate, paired with a Fast IPS panel that targets a 1 ms GtG response time. This makes it an ideal option for fast-paced shooters and competitive esports.

While it doesn’t offer dimming zones like its VA sibling, it does feature more stable viewing angles and better motion clarity. HDR peak brightness reaches 450 nits, while SDR caps at 350 nits. Those numbers won’t blow anyone away, but for gamers chasing frames per second over deep contrast, it hits the mark.

WOLED gaming monitor bu Samsung may launch in early 2026

Samsung may debut its first WOLED gaming monitor in early 2026, part of a five-model OLED monitor push featuring QD-OLED and LG panels.

The Q27G4SP launches alongside the Q27G4SMN. Both share the same size and resolution, yet they cater to different users.

Here’s how they stack up:

The SMN model will likely offer better contrast and deeper blacks, while the SP provides faster visuals and improved angles. Each monitor fits a different style of gamer.

The Q27G4SP doesn’t cut corners on physical design. It includes:

AOC maintains the same design language across both models, with minimal bezels and a clean, angular aesthetic.

As of now, AOC hasn’t announced pricing or a release date for the Q27G4SP. But with specs like these, it’s clearly aimed at speed-first gamers who want 1440p without compromise. When it lands, this QHD gaming monitor might become a go-to choice for competitive players chasing high refresh rates without dropping to 1080p.
